Vistas that stretch well into the future.
I graduated high school from United South Central in Wells, MN and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato in business finance. Since then, I’ve found my passion in economic development with a goal of helping local businesses grow and expand.
Fairmont’s current business climate and recent economic growth have been a result of ag businesses. Martin County is the largest producer in Minnesota for both hogs and corn, and in the state’s top 10 for soybeans and cattle. Fairmont is proud to be the home of Avery Weigh-Tronix, CHS, Green Plains Renewable Energy, Advanced Drainage Systems, Kahler Automation, Fairmont Vet Clinic, Devenish Nutrition and many other agricultural- based businesses. My city is ag because agriculture is our largest economic driver with a very broad reach. From manufacturing, service, and retail, our entire community serves an ag-based market in one way or another.
