Westbrook Walnut Grove school district, in partnership with the Southwest Minnesota Private Industry Council (www.swmnpic.org) is hosting their annual local career fair for high school students and educators. As everyone knows, the world is in continual change and making our youth aware of future career and training opportunities is necessary and needs employers to take a strong stand to get out in front of them.
Minnesota has incredible career and educational opportunities, specifically southwest Minnesota. Unfortunately, many people are not aware of them. If we are going to cultivate the skills and leadership that will keep our economy moving forward, the business and education communities need to work closely together to increase awareness of the great training and employment opportunities that exist in our southwest MN region. We hope you will consider partnering with us.
We are looking for employers who are interested in increasing students’ and their families’ awareness around the “real deal” current and future career opportunities right here in southwest Minnesota through interactive career exploration and information.
On Thursday, December 5th, we will be holding a career fair beginning at 8:15am until 11:30am. Students grades 7th through 12th will be released from classes to attend.
It is important that the exhibits be engaging for students. Feel free to contact us if you would like to talk about ways to make your exhibit as interactive as possible. There is no cost to participate.

Best regards,
