Community Overview
Waseca is a city of 9400 people in South Central MN. Agriculture plays a major role in the economy with food processing, agricultural research, and hemp processing being key facets. Additionally, the industrial mix includes electronic manufacturing, machining, plastics, and metal fabrication. Transportation is highlighted by four lane US Highway 14 and nearby Interstates 35 & 90 plus mainline rail with the Canadian Pacific.
Education is a forte of Waseca with a very highly rated school system. Two lakes are in the city complementing an excellent park and trail system. A variety of specialty shops and the Art Center create a unique commercial environment to enjoy.
