The Westbrook Walnut Grove Schools with the SW MN Private Industry Council (www.swmnpic.org) is hosting their annual local Career Fair for students, educators, parents, and other adults. As everyone knows, the world is in continual change and making our youth and their families aware of future career and training options is necessary and needs employers to take a strong stand to get out in front of them.
Minnesota has incredible career and educational opportunities, specifically southwest Minnesota. Unfortunately, many people are not aware of them. If we are going to cultivate the skills and leadership that will keep our economy moving forward, the business and education communities need to work closely together to increase awareness of the great training and employment opportunities that exist in our southwest MN region. We hope you will consider partnering with us.
We are looking for employers who are interested in increasing students’ and their families’ awareness around the “real deal” current and future career opportunities right here in southwest Minnesota through interactive career exploration and information.
On Thursday, December 7th we will be holding a Career Fair beginning at 8:15 AM until 11:30 AM
It is important that the exhibits be engaging for students. Feel free to contact us if you would like to talk about ways to make your exhibit as interactive as possible. There is no cost to participate, and you will receive free publicity.
