The South Central College’s Agriculture Department invites you to Partnering in Agriculture Day on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. This event aims to connect agriculture operations, agribusinesses, and agriculture students. We hope this is a day that will be beneficial to your business and provide networking opportunities for you and our students. The tentative schedule is:
8:00 a.m.- Business will set up displays.
Conference Center Foyer
8:25 a.m.- Students arrive to be seated.
Conference Center A
8:25 a.m.- Partners to be seated.
Conference Center B
8:30 a.m.- Welcome Message – Dean of Agriculture (5 minutes)
8:35 a.m.- Faculty introductions (5 minutes)
8:40 a.m.- Students introduce the Companies (10 minutes)
(2nd yr students introduce themselves and the businesses)
• 2nd year- Production
• 2nd year- Service & Management
• 2nd year- Service Technician
• 2nd year- all other
8:50 a.m.- ALL students (1st & 2nd year) will do introductions (10 minutes)
• 1st year- Production
• 1st year- Service & Management
• 1st year- Service Technician
• 1st year- all other
9:00 a.m.- Booth time and networking
10:45/11:00 a.m.- Businesses take down dismissed, and students report back to Conference Center for review
