Mankato, MINN (December 5, 2017) – The staff of Greater Mankato Growth and GreenSeam will be moving out of their current location at 1961 Premier Drive, Suite 100 on December 15th and will be temporarily located on the third floor of the Intergovernmental Center Building at 10 Civic Center Plaza. This will be the first of two moves within the next half-year.
Plans to move Greater Mankato Growth, Visit Mankato, City Center Partnership and GreenSeam (GMG, Inc.) into a permanent and unified location are underway. GMG, Inc. has signed a Letter of Intent with Neubau Holdings to occupy the first floor of the Graif Building at 210 East Walnut Street by June 1, 2018.
Following the decision to unify offices, a need arose to exit the space currently occupied by GMG and GreenSeam at its Hilltop location quicker than expected due to an existing tenant’s desire to expand and grow their business. The City of Mankato, as the building’s owner, worked closely with GMG to make available appropriate interim space.
A goal for Greater Mankato Growth, Inc. has long been for all its business units to be located under one roof. This new location will further enable the synergy across the organization. “A core role for us has always been to foster relationships across our business community, which our team naturally embodies,” said Jonathan Zierdt, President & CEO of Greater Mankato Growth, Inc. “Being in a singular location will empower our professional staff for further internal collaboration and as a result provide enhanced products and services to our members, stakeholders and community.”
