The Truth About Food – Rural Legislative Forum

This year’s theme will be “The Truth about Food” – with a focus on food safety, technology related to production, and nutrition issues. This is a highly relevant topic with consumers facing decisions every day as to where they can get the best quality and healthy food options. Some of the variables that are part of that decision-making process are food production and manufacturing, sustainability, labeling, water, animal welfare and genetics. Forum attendees will have the opportunity to engage in discussions revolving around this very hot topic.

This premier annual reception and dinner event joins key public leaders with a wide-range of attendees from the agriculture sector – from producers, to manufacturing, to professional services, to education and research – in candid conversations about key issues facing the rural economy and potential solutions.
