2021 GreenSeam State of Ag Report
For the second year, GreenSeam, along with many collaborators, held focus groups and conducted research to provide deeper insight into the future of agriculture and food.
Discussions focused on barriers concerning talent, policy, mental health, and COVID-19 that businesses face every day. In addition, opportunities were highlighted around entrepreneurship, business development, commodity prices, and advancing technology.
2019 GreenSeam State of Ag Report
For the first time in the State of Minnesota, GreenSeam and numerous volunteers, partners and residents have helped to conduct and launch the Minnesota State of Ag Report.
The State of Ag Report is a comprehensive survey of Minnesota’s agribusinesses and related businesses. It reveals the perceptions and opinions on the economy and other major issues impacting ag businesses.

2020 Economic Contribution Study of Minnesota Agriculture and Forestry
This comprehensive report demonstrates the significant contribution agriculture has in Minnesota, from adding $37.1 billion in value to the state’s economy to creating more than 388,000 jobs.
GreenSeam supported AgriGrowth, along with more than two dozen leading Minnesota agricultural stakeholder groups, in the 2020 Economic Contribution Study of Minnesota Agriculture and Forestry.
NAVIGATING CHALLENGES: MINNESOTA’S FOOD AND AGRICULTURE MANUFACTURERS AND PROCESSORS SUPPLY CHAINS
This report illustrates the impact of the novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID) on supply chains for Minnesota food and agriculture manufacturers and processors.
A collaboration providing services to the Minnesota food and agricultural economic sectors wanted to better understand the supply chain effects of COVID, the resulting pain points and what may be needed to help identify potential new services, resources and supportive actions that would improve supply chain resiliency for Minnesotan businesses.
